The Instant Startup (IS) is a comprehensive support tool designed to assist entrepreneurs to make the transition from idea to commercial venture.

It also empowers both the entrepreneur and the (often under-resourced) technology transfer office to validate the idea, identify customers, considering risks, opportunities, strengths, and weaknesses in the business, develop a business model, deciding on team members, preparing for investors (including building a data room and populating it, preparing an investor pitch deck) and much more.

The IS guides university entrepreneurs through a meticulously curated startup/spin-out journey. Each module is specifically tailored to address the critical phases teams encounter while transforming their business ideas into market realities. As teams progress through these modules, and with the assistance of their technology transfer professional and/or business coach, they transition from conceptualising their ideas to establishing fully operational and functional businesses.
